Production set-up reflection

The shed scenes

We began filming our thriller opening sequence which is located in Simran's relatives' garden which is only a few minutes away from our school. This made it easier for us to film at as we filmed straight after school. We first began by setting up our tripod and camera to get a establishing shot of the whole shed. Then we went in to film the next few scenes where the protagonist is shown held hostage. Before filming these scenes we checked on any safety hazards that we may face when filming. However the only difficulty we faced when filming these scenes was the lighting which I fixed by adjusting the lighting on the camera to make it more dim as this would create low key lighting. The shed filing process of the shed took around 2 hours.

We then imported all the footage that was taken in the past few days of filming and uploaded it to the mac.
The park scenes

Then the next location we filmed at was Seven kings park to film the forest scenes. We found an area where no members of the public where passing by then set up the tripod and camera. We also checked for any health and safety hazards that we may face. We also used our storyboard to make sure that we were filming the correct scenes and tells us how long the scene will be, shot types and camera angles.
A difficulty we faced was a member of the public was worried about our safety and what we were doing so we had explain that we are filming for media.
